How to Be a Terrible Strategy Leader
Five very efficient tips:
1. The "Mystery Strategist": Keep your strategy a well-guarded secret, never sharing it with your team. Let them play a guessing game and revel in the confusion.
2. "The Micromanager": Involve yourself in every tiny detail, leaving no room for your team's ideas or autonomy. After all, you know best, right?
3. "The Flip-Flopper": Change your strategic direction frequently and without explanation. Keep your team on their toes, never allowing them to settle into a consistent plan.
4. "The Eternal Optimist": Disregard potential risks and challenges in your strategy. Always believe that everything will magically fall into place without any setbacks.
5. "The Strategy Ghost": Draft a strategy document and then disappear, never following up or providing guidance. Leave your team in the dark about what to do next.
